Getting to know us

Started in 1993, we’re a small independent team of geoscience and geotechnical engineering specialists based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. So far we’ve carried out over 2000 projects for lots of different clients, development types and geographical areas around the UK.

We have always aimed to provide a technically robust and personable service focused around getting the geotechnical and environment information that’s needed out of the ground. This maximises the cost effectiveness of doing a ground investigation, covering what’s required for planning and building control, and also for clients wanting to understand their liabilities as landowners.

Our vision is to mitigate the impacts of human activities and build a better world. By carrying out geoscience consultancy services we contribute to bringing this vision into reality by helping people to understand what’s in the ground beneath them, and how to work with it.
